What is Anxiety?
Simply put, anxiety is the fear and uncertainty associated with the unknown—the “what-ifs” in life. Anxiety forms when we preoccupy ourselves with worry about what will happen in the future. It is a mental state that can be overcome by learning to live in the present. We must understand that although we shift our focus to living in the “now,” we do not sacrifice progress on goals for the future. Instead, goals are worked on each day—in the present moment.
Many Americans deal with at least one type of anxiety due to the many stressors we face each day in our culture. However, when addressed appropriately, these mental states can be managed and eventually overcome.
Rejuvenated Mind helps clients overcome the following conditions:
- Generalized Anxiety Disorders (GAD)
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Social Anxiety
- Panic Disorders
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
